2024 Voorheesville Homecoming with Kiwanis Soccer - Friday, 10/4

This year, the Voorheesville Soccer Homecoming games will be played on Friday, October 4th! In keeping with the Kiwanis tradition, we are looking for players that are interested in walking the Voorheesville Boys and Girls Soccer teams out at the beginning of the games. We are also looking for players interested in playing a small sided scrimmage during halftime!

Our Kiwanis players will escort the Voorheesville Varsity Boys/Girls players out onto the field when they begin their game! Regardless of your division, you can sign up for whichever slot works best for you. During halftime of both games, we hope to have some players go out on the field and play a fun scrimmage. Detailed information can be found at the sign up genius link referenced towards the end of this email.

There are two different time slots for those interested. These games are played at the Voorheesville High School:

4:30 PM - 6:30 PM on 10/4 - Voorheesville Varsity Girls Game

Interested Kiwanis players should arrive by 4:30PM
The actual game begins at 5PM
During halftime there will be a fun scrimmage for our Kiwanis players, if enough interest (Parents: consider volunteering to help)

6:30 PM - 9:00 PM on 10/4 - Voorheesville Varsity Boys Game under the lights

This game may start later depending on when the Girls game ends
Interested Kiwanis players should arrive by 6:30PM
The actual game is scheduled to begin at 7PM
During halftime there will be a fun scrimmage for our Kiwanis players, if enough interest (Parents: consider volunteering to help)

Homecoming Fireworks
The Voorheesville Soccer Booster Club will have a Fireworks display after the Homecoming games are completed on Friday, October 4th. Be sure to stay after the Boys game and check them out!

Thank you for a great Opening Day!!

It's safe to say that Opening Day of the 2024 Kiwanis Soccer season was absolutely amazing!! There were so many smiles, so much laughter, so many players enjoying the game of soccer, lots of players cheering on players, coaches cheering on players, parents cheering on players, and best of all, so many memories being made. We had so much fun with everyone today that a part of us wish it didn't need to end.
