2017 marks the 12th year of the Solano Mustangs proudly serving the youth of Solano County.  Each year we strive to improve the experiences for our Mustang football players, cheerleaders and families.

Season starts July 17, 2017 and will go through November 2017

- 4 levels of football - which allows for larger roster sizes

- Expanded weight limits - which allows for a broader weight range to play

2017 Football Levels & Weight Matrix:

Our goal is to provide a football and cheerleading program at a minimum cost to the participants and their families: while implementing the ideals of Good Sportsmanship, Honesty, Courage, Loyalty, and Respect for one's self and others.

 Your Child/Players Age on 7-1-2017 will be the age they are for the 2017 Season

We have football programs for the following ages:

• Starts: 6, 7  & 8 year olds, 
• Rookies: 8, 9 & 10 year olds
• Junior Varsity (JV): 10, 11, 12 & 13 year olds
• Varsity: 12, 13, 14 year olds

Starts

• Starts Ages 6, 7 & 8 year olds
• There will be no maximum weight.
  
• No Older/Lighter Players on Starts!
• Players over 90 lbs. will be marked as X-Men

Rookies

• Ages: 8, 9 and 10 year old's
• 11 year old O/L Max Weight 80 Lbs.  (Min. 5 per Team)
• There will be no maximum weight.
• Players over 115 lbs. will be marked as X-Men

Junior Varsity

• Ages: 10, 11, 12 and 13 years old
• 13 year old O/L Max Weight 105 Lbs.  (Min. 5 per Team)
• There will be no maximum weight.
• Players over 145 lbs. will be marked as X-Men

Varsity

• Varsity Ages 11, 12, 13, and 14
• There will be no maximum weight
• 14 year old's may not turn 15 on or before the Conference Superbowl (11/25/2017)
  
• X-Man weight is over 175lbs,  Players over 175 will be X-Man Line Man.
  
• 11 year old's must weigh over 120 pounds.

All Games and Practices are held at Rodriguez High School in Cordelia!
