Snipers, Coach Diego Rodriguez, and a handful of Crush guest players, went to scenic Kenora ONT this past weekend to play in the Casey's Invitational Tourney and came home with the Championship title!  There was a lot of sun, way too much heat, so much soccer, and an insane amount of fun and teamwork that made the weekend one to remember.  Snipers have been going to the Kenora-hosted tournament since 2011 (minus a COVID haitus) and have been winners in the tourney before, but this was their first win in 3 years, after being runners-up for the last two.  A mixture of young (30+) and younger players, the team was resiliant and showed that soccer truly is a beautiful game for all ages and backgrounds, and what makes it so special is the people we share it with.  Way to go, Ladies!  Pew, pew, pew!!

Our 2026 season is in full swing but it's not too late to join!  The league is running a new format this year which will have full 11 v 11 games as well as some small-sided 7 v 7 games so there's something for everyone. GAME RESULTS AND STATS TRACKING:

After each game, refs and/or the Home team's manager will be required to submit a copy of the game sheet to the statistician which should show the following:

• Final Score
• Goal Scorers (and number of goals scored)
• Any Red/Yellow Cards given

**Results must be received within 48 hours of the end of a game**

Any cancelled/forfeited games must be reported to the Referee Scheduler and Statistician before 6pm of game day.  If the game was forfeited, the team that initiated the cancellation/forfeit will be penalized with an automatic loss.
