SHRYOCK FIELD REDEDICATION
The Dallastown American Legion Post #605 Baseball Team will be re-dedicating Shryock Field [the original home of the York Township Baseball Club through 1989] this evening at 5:30PM [preceding their 6:00PM game]. If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested, please spread the word. Hope to see you there!
*NOTE: Shryock Field was originally named for & dedicated to the memory of "Mac" Shryock on June 19, 1967. Post #605 is assisting "Mac's" sister, Margo McGuigan, on the rededication. Margo found a photo of "Mac" [when she was cleaning out her parent's house last summer] posing in one of his baseball uniforms. She had a new plaque made of her brother and thought it might be nice to put a face along with the original name plaque that is there.
