Founder/President Team Nitro LI - Head Coach of TNLI 18U Gold

With over 20 years of Fastpitch coaching experience, Anthony 'Coach Caz' Casalino has incredible passion and drive for the game of Fastpitch Softball. His love of the game started many years ago as he worked his way up from the youth levels of Little League/Rec Ball to the extremely competitive College Fastpitch Showcase levels.

He is currently a Fastpitch Softball Instructor and the Founder/President of Team Nitro LI Fastpitch organization that has numerous teams from 10U through 18U. He is currently the head coach of Team Nitro LI 18U GOLD, a team dedicated to assisting players in finding a great academic and athletic match at the collegiate level. His efforts to date have placed over 50+ student athletes into colleges of their choice.

He is also the Head Coach of Team Nitro LI 2011, a team of players born in 2011. His experiences also include 3 years of coaching for Team LI 18U Elite between the years of 2014 through 2016.

Throughout those years, he has accomplished many achievements and positively impacted many youth athletes. He is a leading Fastpitch Softball Instructor, who specializes in teaching all facets of the game including Pitching, Catching, Infielder and Outfield, as well as developing consistent and powerful Hitters and the fine art of Slapping.

He is now dedicated to building Team Nitro LI into the most well-managed and respected elite fastpitch organization on Long Island that is primarily focused on player development. His philosophy is solely about making each player the best that they can be while building their love for the sport. This approach is the corner stone of Team Nitro LI and is the adapted by everyone coaching within the organization.

In December of 2022, Coach Caz joined forces with Heather Pomilio, a Tincher-based Fastpitch Instructor and opened a dedicated Fastpitch Training Facility called 88 Stitches Fastpitch (www.88stitchesfp.com) located at 74 North Industry Court, Deer Park, NY. This facility will allow Coach Caz to conduct fastpitch training sessions and will be the Home for Team Nitro LI Fastpitch .
