Gabby has been playing the sport of softball for the past 17 years and it is something that has brought so much happiness and passion to her life. After dedicating endless hours of hard work, Gabby was fortunate enough to continue playing at Bentley University, one of the top business schools in the nation and a highly competitive Division II institution. Before college, she had played for Half Hollow Hills High School West, Team Long Island and Team Nitro Long Island.

Gabby used her four years at Bentley to become a strong force both in the classroom and on the softball field. Being named captain of her team during both Junior and Senior seasons, she became a powerful voice for the team. Additionally, with the high expectations of her collegiate coaching staff, Gabby evolved into an unstoppable 1st baseman. The Bentley Softball team led the NE-10 Conference in double plays for both her junior and senior seasons, which can be attributed to her defensive skills. Even though her senior season was cut short due to COVID-19, Gabby finished her Bentley softball career with a .995 Career Fielding Percentage, setting a new school record.

Outside of softball, Gabby became heavily involved with student life at Bentley University. Gabby takes pride in her ability of handling three on-campus jobs all while prioritizing her softball obligations and maintaining a full course load. She devoted three years to the Orientation Program, serving both as an Orientation Leader, and in creating all marketing materials for the department. Gabby also managed the Bentley Athletics Instagram account, where she created stunning graphics and compelling videos for their followers.

She is excited to continue her passion of softball post-graduation as an Assistant Coach for Team Nitro 18U Gold. Gabby is a huge advocate for creating a strong mental game within her players and in pushing them to their fullest potential. Being able to coach with her sister, Francesca Casalino, and father, Coach Caz, as well serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of Team Nitro Long Island, is an exciting new chapter for her.
