Martindale is a 2005 graduate from South Sioux City High School where he played baseball, basketball, and football. He graduated 4th in his senior class.

Martindale signed at Morningside College to continue his baseball career where he played SS/2B for four years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Martindale has four years of coaching experience at the high school level. He was the Assistant Coach at West High School in 2008-2009 and then Assistant Coach at South Sioux City High School in 2010-2011.

Martindale has been a part of Total Baseball Development since 2009 and will be the Game Day Director for the 2019 TBD Fall League. He has a passion for the game of baseball and enjoys sharing that love with the kids in his hometown area.
