MEDIA AREA GIRLS SOFTBALL AND THE PENNCREST LIONS SOFTBALL TEAM PRESENT WINTERBALL 2016

Winterball is a softball clinic available to all girls in Kindergarten thru 5th grades.

Winterball is a chance to come inside on a cold winter night and work on fielding, throwing, hitting and the fundamentals of the game with high school players and coaches.

Winterball is a time to have fun, play games and think spring.

• When: January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 12
• Time: 7:00 to 8:00 PM (K, 1st & 2nd Grades)
8:00 to 9:00 PM (3rd, 4th & 5th Grades)
• Where: Penncrest High School Auxiliary Gym
• Registration Fee: $40.00
All participants will receive a Winterball T-shirt.

Intramural Registration 2016 Season
Media Area Girls Softball is currently holding registration for the slow pitch division. Players can register through February 28, 2016. The slow pitch division offers the opportunity for girls of all skill levels to have fun, while participating as part of a team and is open to all girls in Media and the surrounding communities. No prior experience is necessary. Players are eligible to stay on the same team as the previous year if they are staying in the same division, if they register before the team is full.

o T-Ball (Pre-K & Kindergarten)
o Coach Pitch (1st & 2nd grades)
o Junior Division (3rd thru 5th grades)
o Intermediate Division (6th thru 8th grades)
o Senior Division (9th thru 12th grades)

Practices will begin in late March. Regular season games will be played from late April until the end of the school year.

Registration fees are $75.00 for 1 child, $105.00 for 2 children and $130.00 for 3 or more. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed after February 28, 2016.

All registrations must include a COMPLETE REGISTRATION FORM, a COMPLETE MEDICAL RELEASE FORM and a SIGNED CODE OF CONDUCT, along with payment.

Registrations must include payment in order to be processed. If you submit a registration electronically without payment, the registration will be placed on hold until payment is received. Girls with registrations on hold will not be placed on teams until the registration is complete. This may impact a player returning to their previous team. Team and friend requests are always at the discretion of the league and are difficult to accommodate after the registration deadline.

We accept the following forms of electronic payment: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover or Paypal. To pay with a check go to the Handouts section, print the slow pitch forms and mail them in.

Travel Registration 2016 Season
Media Area Girls Softball will be holding travel division registration and tryouts in February. Indoor practices are already underway a the Elwyn Davidson Gym. League games typically are played on weeknights.

All registrations must include:
• A completed Registration form
• A copy of the player’s birth certificate.
• A wallet-sized photo of the player.
• A completed Medical Release form,
• A signed Code of Conduct form.
• Payment for the proper amount

Evaluations are held are Davidson Gym at Elwyn.
Parents: Playoffs for the Del-Val league begin around July 1st and end two weeks later. Please keep this in mind when scheduling vacations as it becomes very difficult to compete in the playoffs without a full squad of players.
