Bears route Raiders
Nolan Kline and Steve Xanthopoulos combined on a two-hit shutout with no walks as the Bears defeated the Raiders, 10-0, in a makeup of a game from early in the season. The Bears scored 9 runs in the first two innings, then ended the game on the Mercy Rule when pinch-hitter Jared Waldman delivered an rbi-single in the bottom of the sixth nning to drive in pinch-hitter Patrick Wieand with the final run. Sean Sutterby went 3-for-3 and Billy Coleman added 3 hits (including a pair of doubles, the second of which set up Waldman's game-ending hit) to spearhead the 14-hit Boyertown attack.
