Owls Outlast Bears

The Owls scored one in the 7th to tie the game and went on to defeat the Bears in extra innings. Dalton Emerich lead off the 9th inning with a HBP. Nick Sklenarik's sacrifice bunt yielded an out but Emerich attempted to take 3rd base on the play. The ball was thrown away and Emerich ended up scoring from 2nd to win the game. Emerich and Jaden Himmelreich combined for 5 innings of shutout relief for West Lawn. Tate Yergey was 4-4 with 2 doubles, an RBI and run scored for the Bears in a losing effort.
