I was unaware I was responsible for it this week, but going forward Ill make sure I do (next week doesn't look good). I will need some help in this aspect as I don't live around the corner to check on them so my decision on this will be on the earlier side, like if fields suck Saturday late afternoon, we are not playing. I am not going to wait overnight to make the decision unless Rat's around to check them later on that Saturday. As for the refs and setting up on time, the reason its always an issue is almost no teams show up on time (few do). And by on time i mean 815/830 to warm up and start at 9. Teams show up at 9 to warm up and so on and so forth...if the captains can get their teams there on time (830). This will change. If one team is fully there and wants to start and the other team isn't, O well they have 15 mins from game start time or its a forfeit. Its on the captains and teams to show up on time not the commissioner or refs. I cant make people be committed to playing and showing up on time. |
