SPRING 2026 BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN

  • ***ALL TIMELINES WILL BE ADVANCED FOR THIS SPRING - PLEASE CHECK HERE FOR UPDATES***
  • ***Registration period, Parent meeting, Coaches meeting, Player Evaluations, etc., are all expected to happen much earlier than in years past***
  • Spring 2026 Baseball/Softball registration period: 11/15/25 - 1/31/2026
    • Fee is $275
    • Early Registration discount (-$25/player): 11/15/25-11/30/2025
    • Regular Registration: 12/1/2025-1/16/2026
    • Late Registration (+$50/player): 1/17/2026-1/31/2026 
    • Sibling discount ($25) will be automatically applied, as applicable
  • As in recent seasons, there will be strict waitlists implemented to ensure appropriate team sizes, so please register early

KLL WINTER CLINICS (These are different than the KLL "Winter Workouts" which have passed)

  • To be offered at various times in January/February/March 2026
  • These are large group clinics which tend to focus on warming the players up for Spring baseball/softball
  • BASEBALL CLINICS (General Skills)
    • Cost: Free to registered KLL players (10U & 12U only)
    • Typically 4 weekly sessions
    • All other info is TBA
  • SOFTBALL CLINICS (General Skills)
    • Cost: Free to registered KLL players (10U & 12U only)
    • Typically 4 weekly sessions
    • Expected to be offered on Wednesdays starting in January
    • Times/dates are TBA
  • BLAZING PATHS PITCHER'S CIRCLE SOFTBALL PITCHING PROGRAM, by Coach Cara Schwartz
    • Cost: $320 for registered KLL players (10U & 12U only)
    • 8 weekly sessions 
    • Mondays: 1/5/2026 - 3/9/2026 (Make up date: 3/16/2026)
    • Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    • Location: Valhalla HS (Lower Gym)

WINTER WORKOUTS, BY THE GAME ON 13 TRAINING CENTER

KLL Winter Workouts (November/December) registration is now CLOSED.

***As of 1/3/2026 Sherman Park Little League has available slots for January/February Winter Workout trainings***

  • Baseball 8U, Saturdays, 9:00 am - 10:30 am, 1/10/26 - 2/14/26
  • Baseball 10U, Sundays, 9:00 am - 10:30 am, 1/11/26 - 2/15/26
  • Baseball 12U, Saturdays, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, 1/11/26 - 2/15/26
  • Softball 8U, Tuesdays, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, 1/13/26 - 2/17/26
  • Softball 10U, Tuesday,s 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, 1/13/26 - 2/17/26
  • Softball 12U, Mondays, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm, 1/12/26 - 2/16/26
  • Cost is apx. $300 for all 6-group sessions
  • Training session will be at the GAME ON 13 training center, with Go13 trainers.
  • You can register directly through the Sherman Park Little League Website (Once there, go to "Register" [top right tab] and create a SPLL account just like you have for KLL)

 

PLAYER EVALUATIONS (10U & 12U ONLY)

  • Player evaluation day is Saturday 2/28/26 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Specific player evaluation time slots to be determined after registration closes
  • Evaluations are only for 10U and 12U divisions and above
  • **Player evaluations are NOT tryouts; All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to play KLL***
  • The purpose of player evaluations is so Managers can evaluate the skill level of each player before the Player Draft in the upper divisions
  • ALL players must get evaluated
  • ***If you are expecting to Manage a 10U or 12U baseball or softball team, you must attend this day as well.

 

KLL PARENT MEETING

  • KLL Parent Meeting will be on Wednesday 1/14/2026 @ 8:00 pm and will be held virtually.
  • While all are welcome, this meeting is geared primarily for parents of new and or younger players to learn about KLL, our various programs and volunteer opportunities as well as gain an understanding of how our players develop at each level.
  • Please check our website - www.KensicoLittleLeague.com - for updates on time and a link to the meeting.

 

KLL COACHES/VOLUNTEER SAFTEY TRAINING

  • All parent wishing to volunteer in any capacity that has direct contact or oversight of players/kids must attend the coach's safety meeting on:
  • Wednesday 3/4/2026 @ 8:00 pm at the VHS Cafeteria.
  • There will only be limited options for make-up dates
  • With the large number of coaching volunteers we have it is most appreciated if you can make every effort to attend this session.
  • Steps to volunteer as a Manager, Assistant Coach or other:
    • You must do ALL of the following even if you have done so in the past or been background checked for another organization:
      • 1. Register as a volunteer on the KLL SportsConnect Registration Portal
      • 2. Attend Safety Training
      • 3. Complete Background check (will be sent out after registration closes)
      • 4. Complete Little League Abuse Awareness Training (see link below)

OTHER EVENTS

  • PLAYER DRAFT (10U and up) - TBA (expected in February)
  • OPENING DAY PARADE - Saturday 4/11/2026 (expected)
    • We hope to begin practice in mid-to-late March this season
    • And to commence games prior to the Opening Day Parade & Ceremony
    • All is weather dependent
  • PICTURE DAY - TBA
  • TROPHY DAY/BBQ - Saturday 6/20/2026 (Tentative)

Please Drive Slowly Down Kensico Avenue

Please make sure you drive slowly down Kensico Avenue (the road leading to Pat Henry Field) and in the parking lot.  The 30 seconds you save on the way in is not worth the risk you are putting our children in by speeding.  10 mph is more than fast enough. Please remind family and friends that this is an area that requires slow driving.
