Last In-Person Kensico Little League Registration - 2017

The Last In-Person Kensico Little League Registration For 2017 will be held on Wednesday Night January 11th 7:00-8:00 pm in the Valhalla HS Cafeteria. As a reminder a late registration fee of $25.00 will be necessary and automatically added for any fees collected after January 31st.

Kensico Little League Mail-In Registration for the 2017 season is now open. All participants will be required to be pre-registered via the "Kensico Little League Registration" link found on the upper right side of this page.  Please visit the site for league age details and to complete, submit and print Mail the completed registration form and a check made out to Kensico Little League to Kensico Little League, P.O. Box 11, Valhalla, NY 10595. Kensico Little League registration rates for the 2017 Little League season are listed below. As has always been the case, no child will be turned away from participating for financial reasons. Financial hardship assistance is available; please contact a member of the Board to apply.

First Time Registrants Please Supply Proof of Age (Birth Certificate).

Please submit registration payments early - a late registration fee of $25.00 will be necessary after January 31st. There Is No late Fee for First Time Registrants.

Kensico Partners with GameOn 13 For Pre-Season Workouts

Kensico Little League partners with GameOn 13 to offer some Great pre-season workouts for your child. GameOn 13 has developed some fantastic preseason workouts starting from the very basic fundamentals while making sure to progress weekly to eventually have these young men and women ready for the start of Little League 2017. We will have 4 offerings as below. You are welcome to take advantage of any amount of classes you like. Please review the attached flyer for registration details.

Kensico Little League Partnering with Softball Strength Academy

Kensico Little League is partnering with Softball Strength Academy to offer some Great pre-season workouts for your girls. Softball Strength Academy has 2 great coaches that both played at Alabama and won a national championship to help your girls get ready for the start of the Little League 2017 season. We will have 2 classes available but space is limited. You are welcome to take advantage of any amount of classes you like for the session 2 which starts in January. To register please contact Softball Strength Academy directly as listed on the attached flyer.

Bat Rules Changed for 2018 Season

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018. Please consider the fact that bats purchased for this season will not be acceptable next season when purchasing a bat for the 2017 season.

Clinics Moved from Wednesday to Thursday Nights

Due to scheduling conflict the Baseball and Softball clinics have been moved from Wednesday to Thursday nights:

Baseball Clinics January 05, 2017 – March 27, 2017 Thursday Nights in the Valhalla High School Lower Gym.  League Age 8, 9 and 10 (Minors) 6:30PM - 7:25PM and League Age 11 & 12 (Majors) 7:30PM - 9:00PM.  Registered Players Only.

Valhalla Board of Education Volunteer Service Award

Annual Solicitation for Volunteers

The Nominating Committee of Kensico Little League is conducting the annual solicitation for volunteers interested in serving on the Board of Directors or as a Divisional Vice President for the 2017-2018 Season. The term of office runs from 10/01/2017 to 09/30/2018. The Board meets monthly for the entirety of the year. If you are interested in being considered for a position, please review the position description and complete the self nomination form found in the handouts section. Please return the form to: Kensico Little League Nominating Committee, PO Box 11, Valhalla, New York 10595-0011 by 09/01/2017. Elections will be held on Thursday September 21, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:30 at Pat Henry Field.
