How to Pick Up a Player

Indoor 2023-24

Pickups are limited to no more than three (3) players per game. Teams must have less than 3 subs in order to pickup, exception is pickup of a goalie. All pickups must be added to the game sheet prior to the start of the game. 

Only fully registered players (those with an OSA membership) may play as pickups. Pick ups are limited to no more than three (3) players per game.

 

Pick up forms must be completed and submitted prior to the game. If this is not possible (i.e. for on-field pick ups) the form MUST be completed and submitted within 12 hours of the game and the Team Rep must notify the opposing Team Rep of the pick ups prior to the start of the game.

If a team picks up a player and fails to submit a completed pick up form based on either of these criteria then the team will be fined $25.00; if the team won the game then the team will forfeit the game by a score of 1-0 in addition to being fined.

All pick ups must be added to the gamesheet. prior to the start of the game.

If a team uses pick up player(s), rostered players on the host team must receive fair playing time.

Divisions may pick up players as follows:


DIVISION 1 - may pick up players laterally or from Division 2 or 3

DIVISION 2 - may pick up players laterally or from Division 3

DIVISION 3 - may pick up players laterally
