Baseball
Expected Skills Development by Grade Level
We compete against other local towns in the “Riverfront League”. Delanco, Riverside, BCYAA(formally Corpus Christi), Burlington City. The league is chartered with Cal Ripken Baseball.
Pre-K & Kindergarten = Tee-Ball
1st-2nd Grade = Rookies
3rd-4th Grade = Minors
5th-6th Grade = Majors
7th/8th Grade =“Babe Ruth”
All-Star teams from each town compete against one another at the end of the season in the Riverfront Cup Tournament. This allows the best of each town to compete against each other.
"District All Star Teams" are also created at 9, 10, 11, and 12 years old. These teams are the all stars of our league; independent of the town program they belong to. The District Team competes against other bigger towns in our District such as Mount Laurel, Delran, Burlington Township, Moorestown, etc.
