Participants will learn basic skills associated with hockey such as handling, passing, shooting and defense.
We will play a variety of hockey games that will help the kids learn basic skills while having fun at the same time.
The older group will work on skill development in more of an actual game-play setting.
As participants progress up through the Junior Penguins program they will be placed
more and more into scrimmages and games to educate on positioning and effective teamwork.

Junior Penguins Bulter Tournament
May 19, 2012
The New Castle Jr Pens competed in the Bulter Tournament on Saturday, May 19.
After falling to Cranberry in Game 1, 3-0, they rebounded to beat host Butler 4-0 in Game 2.
This qualified the team for the 2nd seed in the playoff bracket.
The afternoon continued on with a second victory over Butler 3-1 to advance into the finals.
New Castle's day came to an end as Cranberry held our team off the board with a 2-0 win.
The team end up 2-2 for the weekend and brought home a second place finish in the tournament.
