I hope you have a wonderful MLK, Jr. Day and a memorable, Historical Inauguration Day!!!!

Thank You once again for your patience while going through taking your league pictures this weekend.  It’s always a lot to take in with the number of participants we have but we truly appreciate your understanding. We will advise when pictures return.

Schedule change for games at Elko starting this weekend (1/26) (mostly affecting Bitty Baller and Pee Wee’s)…  Due to the bye in the Bitty Baller division, we have to move some of the games up an hour.  Starting this weekend, the 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm Elko games will now be played at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm.  Please stay tuned to the website for changes.  Once the current schedule has been adjusted, a note will be posted to the website when all is complete.

League Orders (sweat suits, team t-shirts, etc.) are being accepted.  Please see Makon, Wilnette or give your orders to your team parent to turn in.  Orders received on Saturdays will be processed and typically delivered back the following Saturday.

Fundraiser collections….will be February 2, 2013 and February 9, 2013.

Please remember that we CANNOT accept checks this season.  We will communicate where collections will be soon.  Thank you in advance for your understanding and importance in fundraising so that the league can run successfully.

We still need volunteers to run the clocks during the games.  Please attend the above training and contact Ms. Nicole Carter at nikicarter101@aol.com or 804-306-8725 to sign up.

We are looking for Board Members for THIS SEASON…..  If you are interested in volunteering your time, we have positions available on the board. (Additional ADs for each divisions, HBCU Coordinator, Sponsorship Coordinator).  Please respond to this message if you are interested.

Greetings EEYB Family,

Sponsorship Ad and Shout Out your Participant in the Souvenir Booklet….. Due this Saturday (1/19/2013)…  If you know a business or you would like to put a “Shout Out” to your child in this season’s souvenir booklet, ad’s are due this Saturday (1/19/2013).  Please see the attached Sponsorship letter for more details.  See any board member to turn in.

DONATE NEW & USED SHOES… EEYB is sponsoring a Shoe Drive. Package your old shoes and sneakers and bring them to Elko Middle School this Saturday (1/19/2013) and drop them in the box in the picture area.

We will be accepting this years HBCU tour permission slips and fees this Saturday (1/19/2013) at the HSHS Hudson gym from 1pm to 4pm.  Please note that this is first come-first served.  Once the two busses are filled, we will not accept any additional participants.  This trip is for the Junior, Senior, and Super Senior Cheerleaders and Basketball participants – age minimum of 10 years old.
