Player Profile

  • Stephanie Altergott   #

  •

  • Most Holes-in-one trophy winner 2006
    Most Improved 1999

    Age: 42
    Occupation: Mom!
Mini golf experience: Stephanie was in 2nd place after four rounds, 3rd place after 5 rounds in 2006, and went on to become the first woman to play in the final foursome of the final round since Dianne Cullen in 1999. Her fifth-place finish was the highest by a woman since that same year, and marked the first time she finished under par. She also was the first player in Mini Masters history to record five holes-in-one in a single round, a feat only equaled six times in the following 14 years.
Interesting facts: Is the only woman in Blazing Ptarmigans broomball history to record a hat trick.
Interesting lies: Stephanie likes to eat cheeses carved in the shape of Rumpelstiltskin-- not the fairy tale character, but the little-known Belgian philosopher/bocce ball imitator, Paul Rumpelstiltskin. She once dreamed of marrying a Rumpelstiltskin lookalike, but had to settle for a Curious George aficionado.
