The Eagles Take The Cup

Abundant Life Christian Academy Eagles took the 16th edition of the Eagles Cup in front of a large crowd at the Eagles field. The two most storied schools in the league met once again in the finals. Since to 2020's both schools had won the trophy twice and one was going to make it a treble. Indeed St Paul Falcons had been in the finals every year since 2020 even as a 4th seed this year. 

The game started off with the very talented Abundant Life team taking an early advantage and by midway of the second half it was 5-0 in a very lopsided affair but within the last 15 minutes of the game St Paul sprong to life cutting the deficit to two as they scored three unanswered goals. However the unusual comback was not to be as Abundant Life held on to win 5-3 in the higheset scoring finals ever. 

      A good showing by both teams in front of a great crowd.
