- Rain / Wet Conditions - Please check theLeague website for the Field Status regarding field conditions.
- Red - Fields are CLOSED. Gates will be locked to avoid external usage (when fields are leased to GYGSA)
- Yellow - outfield use only - NO infield usage.
- Should rain start, be wary of the wet bases as players can slip on their slick surfaces.
- Lightning - When lightning is detected within 10 miles of the facility, please get the players off the field and into the dugout. There is a 30min delay after the last lightning strike is detected. Suspending practices or games should be considered.
- To better assist in determining/detecting lightning in the area, use a mobile app that tracks lightning strikes. Pictured below is an example:
