SPRING / SUMMER / FALL NEWS AND INFORMATION
Please check back for more info regarding our fall sports.
PARKING!!!! As you know parking is always an issue at Harundale. We have limited spaces in the parking lot near the concession stand. But we do have a large overflow parking lot in front of the school with a longer walk. We know everyone wants the shortest walk possible but that sometimes doesn't work out. Please be aware of all the NO parking signs and handicap spaces. If you do park in a no parking zone you face the possibility of a ticket or even towing. These areas are marked for a reason, emergency vehicles are very large and if called they need to be able to get in and get out as fast as possible. Also please do NOT park on Elizabeth RD along the street, this will be the first area checked for illegal parking. Please remember AACO Police will be onsite each night and we don’t want them tied up with parking issues. Thank You
As always feel free to contact anyone from the E-Board. All their info can be found under contacts on the left side of this page.
Wire Theft at AA County Parks and Rec's Fields
Message From AA County Parks and Rec's
In the past month we have had a rash of thefts of copper wiring from the lighting poles at our ballfields. We need your help. You and your participants are our eyes and ears at our ballfields. Please pass the word that we need to be on the lookout for anyone who could be stealing the wiring to our lights. So far the thieves have stolen wiring at 9 fields and we are topping the $100,000 mark to replace the wiring. We know you need lights for your use of the fields but we are depleting the money used to renovate our parks in order to repair the lights.
If you see anyone suspicious in the parks, please do not approach them but rather call the police. For your safety, if you see tampering with the lighting poles or electric box, please do not touch the area but call our Department. We have been told by the police that a van (possibly blue) with ladder racks has been driving around ballfields. We need your help.

"The green and yellow paper recycling bin is dropped and located at HYSL in the main parking area behind the concession stand. This bin will be for all recyclables (plastic, paper, cardboard, and metals are part of this program). This will be another way to fundraise for HYSL and support your children's sports activities. Please save your newspapers and other types of recyclables and bring them to your next game/practice and drop them in the bin. The more support - the better the program will be for HYSL." Again, thank you in advance for your support of the recycling program.
