Field Status: All Games Reported PLAYABLE

The "weather" is upon us, so please ensure you check with your opponent and the "home" field status before you start out in severe weather. If you must cancel a game, please follow the Severe Weather Game Cancellation .

It is also a good habit to check in with your opponent the night before game day to discuss how you will handle last minute cancellations. All team contact under "Teams".

Please note:

From VIPL Policy and Procedures - 2.6 Playing Fields and Game StartTimes

(a) UISA will schedule VIPL games on fields in the Port Alberni Reginal District, Ladysmith Regional District, Oceanside/Parksville Regional District, Nanaimo Regional District or
the Comox Valley Regional District and the Campbell River Regional District.

(b) LISA fields will only schedule VIPL games on fields in the Capital Regional District or
the Cowichan Valley Regional District.

(c) All VIPL games, except VIPL games involving a LISA Team vs. UI-North Team,
must not start prior to 12 noon, nor start later than 4:00 p.m., unless both coaches
agree to a change in time. Game times involving a UI-North team playing a LISA
Team must start no earlier than 12 noon and no later than 1:00pm.
Note: This practice allows Powell River players to travel on the most suitable ferry schedule.

(d) The VIPL Scheduler must be advised of any game time change.

(e) The Home team is responsible for referees, two assistant referees, nets, corner flags and the lining of field.

Please ensure game times and locations are posted on the VIPL website by Wednesday, 6:00pm PRIOR to game day. UI Teams, please forward info to UI Administrator. LI teams, please follow directions sent from LISA. Any problems inputting times/locations, please email the UISA Administrator at ui-soccer-sched@telus.net
