I am Coach Chance Evans. My wife Erin and I are excited to be here in Wichita Falls and are excited to be taking over the Coyote Baseball Program. We have 2 Daughters, Emerson(4) and Collyn(1).
I am entering my 10th year of coaching and 7th as a head coach. I'm coming from Ballinger Tx, where I compiled a 51-49 record in 5 years. In the last 3 we made 3 straight playoff appearances and won the 1st Bi-district championship in the program's 30 year history.
Before Ballinger I coached at Ranger HS. We went 19-6 in my one year there. We got second in district and snapped an 11 year playoff drought.
I have also been an assistant coach at both Sweetwater and Wall High Schools.
I am from San Angelo originally, where I played football and baseball at Central High School. I played my freshman year of Baseball at Cisco Jr. College, under Coach David White, before transferring to Angelo State University where I graduated in 2008.
