Katie has been a member of SPGSA since 2017 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2024 serving as Treasurer. Having 3 daughters who play for the organization, Katie has served as an assistant coach.

Katie is also very actively involved with her daughters' travel teams being the team treasurer for PA Renegades and helping out with her other daughter's Pittsburgh Tigers team.
