Coach Sara, embarking on her 18th year of coaching volleyball, is currently in her second year with NOVA. Her passion for the sport ignited at the age of 12 when she played Junior Olympic volleyball at the national level. As a four-year starter at Oak Harbor High School, she showcased her skills and commitment. Sara's journey continued at Malone University, where she played for three years before transitioning to women's adult A level, excelling both indoors and on the sand. In 2005, she initiated her coaching career with girls Junior Olympic and high school teams, accumulating extensive experience at various levels and ages. Sara's versatility led her to switch to coaching boys' high school and Junior Olympic teams. Her contributions extend beyond coaching, as she played a pivotal role in running and coaching Everest Boys Volleyball Club, sand volleyball youth and high school leagues, and youth BIVL/Spring league for over five years. Prior to Everest, Sara made a mark coaching boys at AVC and Elite Sports. Throughout her career, Sara has achieved significant success at all levels, driven by her genuine enjoyment of teaching and contributing to the growth of the game.
