Aly Coughlin

Mentor / College Athlete

I graduated from Rockwall-Heath High School in 2011 and attended Northwestern State University in Louisiana where I ran for two years. Last fall I transferred to Tarleton State University where I currently run track and cross country. This year in cross country, I was named all conference, all region, the LSC Newcomer of the Year, and was a national qualifier. In indoor, I was the 3k and 5k LSC champion and named the Lone Star Conference Female Track Athlete of the Year. I ran the 1500, 3k Steeple and 5k in outdoor this year. I was the LSC steeple chase champion and named all conference and all region. I qualified for nationals in the steeple chase as well. I look forward to my last few semesters at Tarleton where I am majoring in Kinesiology and hoping to become a coach. My favorite bible verse is Hebrews 12:1-2, which I even got a tattoo of this year!
