| Since this forum sometimes likes to accentuate the negative I thought it only fair to focus on the positive for a change.
Due to team (Wild Wing) stupidity and a difficulty in finding spares we only had 7 guys show up last night to face Justin Case. They could have decided it was a forfeit and the game would have been over and they would have got the win. However, they allowed us to pick up a league player who was watching (Hatz from Kelsey's) and also provided a catcher so that we could play and make the game official.
I just wanted to say thanks and make sure they knew it was much appreciated.
I don't want to start a USPL love in but this is the kind of stuff that makes this league unique and one of the best in the city.

| My buddy told me that happened but I guess he arrived when you had 8.
Having someone on the opposition catch isn't going to make a big difference because the catcher is very rarely involved, therefore a lesser change of a player loyalty concern. But more importantly, at least you the game on. It's a good reflection on the humility and the preferential option that a vast majority of the teams show.
Oh all alright, everyone shows.
Now just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "team stupidity?" Did you guys procrastinate in calling the spares?

| Jeff, Mike and rest of the gang that play on JIC are examples of what this league is all about.
