| I just want to let you pitchers know to be very careful pitching to certain teams. I had to pitch last week I am convinced that teams shot the middle purposely. Then they says to me if you’re worried about getting hit you shouldn’t pitch, rather than saying sorry.

| I agree that anyone who is afraid of getting knocked should not be pitching. The last position on your list of positions you'd like to play. However in the unlikely event an errant hit finds its way towards the pitcher I've always felt you should apologize or say nothing. But don't be a cocky prick. And, if you did it on purpose, you shouldn't be allowed to play in this league. You probably shouldn't be allowed out of your home because you have bigger issues.

| I agree, there are too many good hitters in this league that consistently "shoot the box" for a cheap hit !!

| And on another note....those pitchers who consistently pitch outside to power pull hitters should not be surprised when the ball comes straight back at them..
I don`t think anyone in this league intentionally shoots the box.

i agree there are great pitchers that can place the ball whereever they want and sometimes you have to chase a bad pitch or reach. i have been involved in many games, two of which this year when we were down 10+ runs in the late innings and guys have shot the box and these are top notch players. there was no need except to pull the ball especially when it is down the middle to try to just get out of the inning. these guys are just trying to show people up that is why i remember, these are repeat offenders, it does happen. it does not happen often but it does happen, some by mistake but we all we know the culprits. i hope the others or just flukes.

| Hey Jets6400...if you want to talk trash be man enough to say who you are...
for the record, I do try to hit up the middle sometimes but never with intent to injure...I can't believe any players in this league would be serious about hurting a fellow rec ball player

I think Jets is one of the younger guys on YOUR team who has only been around a few years but still doesn't get what the league is all about.

| maybe...but we have been trying to figure it out and we only really have 1 young guy...I don't think it's him...plus this guy always brings up the slide which our young guy would likely know nothing about...and which we don't care about...anyway, he does not rep the Bistro whoever he is
