Okay, so first off, we need to get more people using this site so we get more input. Here are a few ideas that I think we need to get going for the 2009 season.

1.) We need a couple workdays early in the spring to get the field whipped into shape so its looking sharp for our tourney. The tourney went well last year, and will be even better this year.

2.) Fundraisers. Whether we find sponsors, sell raffle tickets, have a spaghetti dinner, we need to make sure we keep the funds up so we have the money to get new gear and other things.

3.) Put on a camp for some of the younger kids in the area. Its important to give back and help develop some more talent for the future.

4.) NEW DUGOUTS!! There are a few things that need to happen there, but we need bigger dugouts, and maybe even a press box above ours.

5.) I'll get the site more up to date, but I need information from you guys to put cool stuff on.

There are many more things to put on that list, but I know there are a lot of players and fans pumped for the 2009 Season. Lets get everyone using this site, and I'll get the stats and stuff updated.

Include me on the list of people that are pumped about this coming year. All the young talent we have is going to make us tough again this year. How much coin are we talking for new dugouts. Sounds like a bit of a project but definitely something we have to do eventually. Although, after building a house I imagine Hank could take care of a couple dugouts in an afternoon or 2. I'm not much of an idea guy but I'll help out where I can.

Are we trying to get them a couple of games like we did last time with Staples. Would be cool to try and get someone like Randall or someone else we don't play and get everybody 2 games.
On a whole different subject, anyone ever had their bicep tendon worked on?
Later,
Nuke

There are a few Pike in the river, and a few holes where you can hit the walleyes, but they pretty much only bite at dawn and dusk. If you're looking to just catch fish, which I'm guessing that would be cool enough with your boy, there are lots of places where you can catch rock bass until you will be sick of taking them off the hook. Not much for eating, but for catching they are a good time. Shad Raps or Leeches for walleyes, daredevils for Northerns, jigs and chunks of crawlers for rock bass. If nothing else its a fun river to canoe. Lookin forward to playing Young America again.

I THINK THE MAIN GOAL WOULD BE NOT FALLING OUT OF THE CANOE. GOD, I HATE ROCK BASS. FIGURES THEY ARE THICK IN THAT RIVER. OH WELL, MAYBE I'LL JUST BRING A COOLER FULL OF BEER AND SEE HOW FAR A 12 PACK TAKES ME!
