| My goodness just got back from Jakes and heard about the big upset win by the Arms over the huge favourite first place team!!!! What is that 10 out of the last 11 since the All Star Break!! These guys are on fire! All this and they have lost their shortstop from what I ahave heard was a vicious attack by another member of the USBL. Looks like the Arms is now one of the favourites for the big prize on Championship Weekend

| Hey Babe, Why are you so irritated? We all play in this league for enjoyment of a cold one after and spending time with our acquaintances on and off the playing field. Keep your trap closed and enjoy the games. You have a great team and are the team to beat. Best wishes in the playoffs.

| The Arms come into the playoffs on a roll, and we have not done it against weaker teams. We play good infield defense, and are among the strongest teams in the outfield, which does bode well for a long stay in the playoffs. We have three huge keys that will make us very dangerous in the playoffs great coaching, awesome bats, and a stingy defense. When it comes to playoff experience, there isn't a team richer in it than our elder players. It is simply our time of year.

| I agree with Double Vision. Lets just play the games and leave the chirping for the winter time if some lucky team is to win it all. Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs. It's been a great year so far. lots of fun and great games. I speak on behalf of the entire UArms.

| Watch out for team Crupi...they are 9-1-1 in their last 11 games and are putting up some solid wins. They've done this very quietly so far, mostly because they don't feel the need to write how good they are on the forum every week.

| My last post focused on the talent and depth in the Arms outfield, one of the best in the league. The young lads might be the best defensive outfielders Unionville fans have ever seen. Factor in the extremely talented depth in front of them, and you have the beginnings of a very special defense.

| I wouldn't call the Arms team a "Cinderella" team. I also like the write up of all the positives about the Arms. Including how they lost against the School and Remax like it wasn't supposed to happen, why not mention the temperature and how full the moon was that night too. How about when the Arms only won 1 of their first 8 games? Didn’t see that in the write up did we?
Is this going to be another blind squirrel looking for a nut under the tree? Or perhaps a Bull getting outsmarted by the color Red. Ohlaee! Best of luck guys... should be a good playoffs series

| I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers on the Arms. We will lay our vengeance upon a team that gives us a whipping.

| What is obvious to even the most casual observer is that the previous champs are rapidly aging and in decline. The School, on the other hand, are in their ascendency, having infused their already formidable base of players with fresh, young (and fast) talent. This team may not lose another game!!

| Suppose I will chime in since I am bored and my season is over.
Remax. I think you are a classy team but you have run out of miracles. I am not certain but you may be done by Friday night. Thanks for the memories.
DST. They hit the crap out of the ball and still run pretty well for a broken down old men. Their outfield is very strong. It will be a challenge to beat the big boys.
Ed’s/Vision. They can shut you up after a few pitches, very powerful. Last time they made a playoff run Big Rick was on that team. Infield defense is a bit wobbly but they will be in the semis come Sunday afternoon.
Arms. I hope you enjoyed the ride because it's over. Too much yapping with little substance, strong with the gloves but have numerous guaranteed outs with the bats. It's sort of like a version of the Leafs.
Harding. Everyone was pulling for you guys to win in the finals last year. I hope that experience will carry you guys to the tent to celebrate early this year. This team fires on all cylinders and may get to the big dance again this year.
Crupi. They will score 30 runs but will give up 31. If the defense holds up they may have a shot, only one good infielder on the team. Enjoy the games from the sidelines and have a beer ready for me when I get there.
School. Are they in the connie?
Travel. They are missing some key elements of last year’s team. Early exist is predictable.

| You Play. To Win. The Game. One of the greatest quotes of all-time, but one that also relates to every sport once you get past the regular season. Some team “get it” the Arms don’t.

| As a sign of good faith to the Sultan I would like to offer you a spot along with Armsun on next year’s chronicles of our “TEN is when we win”, our new mid day soap opera. My team is going to win the big one next year. We will accommodate both of you with the much desired 1b or c spots where you can rest your legs and you will have enough energy to be the team’s water boy and fluffer.
