| I just want to express my disappointment in the behavior and actions of some of the players in this league. It is amazing to me that a bunch of grown adults
can act like a group of preschoolers. The league puts so much time, money and effort to give you guys the opportunity to keep on living the "childhood dream"
and in return we get a bunch of whiners and a few swindlers. Have any of you ever thought about how much you give to this league to make it what it is today? I doubt it because if you
did I am sure you would treat all players with much more respect. I don't think what I am asking of any you is unreasonable... hmm let's think about that for a
minute.. pay your league fee.(is it news to anyone that it costs $$ to play? ..didn't think so if you don't have the money then don't play?) ..... wear the appropriate uniforms...everybody does it why do you think you are special and don't have to follow those rules treat each other with respect and only ask of others what you would ask of your self?.( you want others to follow the "rules" but when it is your team not following them that's okay?) see the bat baloney chat on this forum seems pretty simple for a group of grown adults? But lately some of you aren't acting like adults but more like children who have to be constantly reminded to do
what you are asked. Maybe you need to sit back and think of what the USPL has done to enrich your life and you will realize that this is for entertainment purposes only. Play the game, win or lose entertain yourself and have a few chuckle along the way

| Small Ball.....your email has some merit!
But to your point, why is it that if you feel and say what you say about giving back to the league.....that only one person has responded, and he`s not even in the league, to help out with assisting with this weekend`s tent and associated festivities....The truth is, and think about it, NO BEER TENT, NO FOOD, NO FUN!!!
On that note, enjoy the weekend, have a beer or two and enjoy the great food supplied through Evan from the Village Grocer for the Lions Club!
All profits from the tents are shared between the Lions Club and your USPL!!!!
Cheers,
Widds

| This comment is the dumbest post I have ever read on this website. “The truth is, and think about it, NO BEER TENT, NO FOOD, NO FUN!!!” We are here to play ball not to drink or eat. What have we done for the past four months? Played the game and then hang with our buddies. We have many sponsors in walking distance that have better food and cheaper beer. So the enjoyment is on the field. We do not need the TENT for FUN, the game is the gratification for all of us.

| Hey Dulls
Widds is bang on! I have played in alot of league's and Unionville is clearly the best for Ball AND the social... This is the best Rec Ball weekend for a league anywhere around.
This takes alot to organize and the least you can do on one weekend is dust off the vinyl wallet and support the league and the Lion's Club.
Step up and support the cause for a weekend and most of all .....have Fun.
oh ya...... GO MAS!!!! Number 1 in the Fan's hearts..... Go Normy and crew.

| Looking forward to spending time in the tent with all the other teams, drinking beer, eating food, watching games, talking smack, winning the championship. Dont get me wrong, I do love our local establishments but I would take the atmoshpere of the park and the tent on this weekend. Good luck to all and looking forward to playing ball and drinking with you all this weekend. Very excited! Thanks for all your efforts Widds!!!

| Dulls,
Your a dickweed! Ya that's right I said it. At the end of the day, this weekend is really a culmination of a great year on the ball diamond. The beer tent makes it extra special, if the beer is to expensive let me know who you are and I'll buy you a cold one or join the ULBA. Thats short for "Unionville Lawn Bowling Association" their registration is low cost and the coffee is free.

| Dulls, you are pathetic! This is not a play ball then go home league. There is such a thing as being social, try it. Widds and Execs, great job on the tent and involving the community which is what this is all about. Those people that don't appreciate it (Dulls) have never organized anything in their life before except for what colour suit they are going to wear to work that day. Alot goes into running a league and final weekend tourney. Don't let one bonehead spoil it for everyone else. Our next game is May 2010 but we had a blast again this year. Good luck to all who play Sunday. Play safe and see you at the Crosby's.
