You may have wondered where Brian Champ of DST was this weekend. Mr. Champ was down with the Weapons in the Provincials having the batting weekend of his life going 23 for 26 as the Weapons lost in the finals. Out of interest Brian lost the MVP title to a professional ball player who played this season with the triple A club Omaha in the Kansas City chain.
We argues over who would win that Sunday morning School versus DST battle and he certainly missed being with his teammates on DST but he greatly appreciated their support of his decision to play in the Provincials.

This Brian Champ, so he did not play in our final weekend, who cares? Lots of guys have missed our playoff weekend over the years (some have actually come back with Provincial rings even), what does that have to do with anything. Don't make excuses, give the winning team credit. There is not enough room on this website to cover all the good players currently and those former league members who put this league on the map. If you want to talk about him take him out for a beer or something. Why don't you talk about the guys who were there? There's a minute and a half I won't get back.

First of all Congrats to Harding - I was not diminishing their efforts.
I thought some people might be interested in how well Brian and his team did down in the Falls in Men's B.
I also thought that his teammates would like to know how much he was cheering for them.
This wasn't to bash or diminish anyone.
