| There is only one team that can dream about Back 2 Back Titles and that is the THE ARMS!!! The road will be rough, but the one knock against the kids was they would fold under the pressure of the playoffs. They are now seasoned veterans and only going to get better. If the old farts hold our own for one more kick at the can who knows.

| What a bunch of whiners The Arms are!! They’re upbeat and jovial WHEN THEY’RE WINNING, but get them down a few runs, and they start chirping each other, the umpire, and the other team. It looks good on them that they’re 0-2 (and should probably be 0-3 except for a timely thunderstorm!)
And how the league puts up with the mouth on that pitcher of theirs is beyond me. I saw (or rather heard) him go off on another team last night, dropping F-Bombs that echoed throughout Unionville. We don’t need, nor should we tolerate, that kind of behaviour in the USPL.

| Everyone has a time when they "go off" - I'm sure they're frustrated being 0-2...as are we on VG! As far as I'm concerned, Chris (the pitcher) is a class act and I'm sure this was an isolated instance. As a league, let's just be conscious of profanity - sometimes you just don't know who's at the park watching/listening. Overall a great start to the season. No team can be taken lightly anymore. Should be a competitive season right until December...when we are able to get in all the missed games!

"run on him take 2nd he's sleepin".The outburst maybe a little agressive, but I am not upset with G , however Jimmy the ump really did't handle the situation well at all,seemed a little confused to say the least.One last note in all the years I have played in this league 27 in total that is the first time that I had a couple of players avoid the handshake,grow up and leave it on the field,that will come you as you mature.

By the end of the game we shook hands and all was fine. You don't need to go tell him to grow up. | The Arms has had it tough the first 2 months of the season. And it doesn’t get much easier for them. Here’s their remaining schedule:
Griffiths x 2
NVision x 2
Grocer x 2
Crupi x 2
Summit 6T6 again
DST again
Tar again
Plumbers
Harding
Bistro
Wing It
MAS
DBS
Realistically, they’d have to win 12 of the remaining 17 games (a .700 clip) to even have a sniff at making the Championship side of the playoffs. Even 25 points is no sure thing to make it in. As I look at their remaining games, that’s a tough schedule against some pretty good teams. At best, I see 7-8 wins, which ain’t going to cut it.
However, as we saw last September, if any team can get hot, it’s these guys. Good luck, boys!

| Teams should start letting us win! We all know that no one wants us to have the first overall pick next year as well as having 3 picks in the top 10. I'm just saying.
We as a team think that finishing the season with 0 wins and going into the consolation side will be a blast. I would hate to be the team that sees our faces on Sunday morning bouncing around like last year.
Just a thought.....

| Oh no, we are trying to win every game. We have to many competitive guys on our team to start throwing games. We just can't seem to pull any wins out.....having said that...it makes us feel better to say we are trying to go winless. :)

| Played against the Arms as a call up. They seem to have lost their chemisty as team. They have great players, but seem to have lost their way. Although I would watch out for them in the playoffs, especially in the Cony round. They are too good a team to be where they, presently with their record, in the standings.

Each victory they get is nothing less than a gift from God. We can’t compete with them and won't even try. They got the best lefty hitter in the league. They got the best righty hitter in the league. The best shortstop. The best outfielder. The best catcher. They got the nicest guy in the league. The Silent Assassin. They got the best newcomer. They got the best guy/worst beard ...Goat. Best bloop hitter with the nicest fans. The even have the handsomest son of a bitch in the league.
How can we compete...well....we cant.

| Okay I have to presume most of the people reading this forum today aren’t the same readers that were here years ago and I must now preface my remarks by first giving a brief cursory history lesson to all of the new readers here.
Two years ago, the Arms had a flukey playoff run and blew out my team in the finals. This outcome was pretty much the same thing that is occurred last year final. Summit played with 12 players while DST had 14. Just reporting the facts.
Most of the lads on the Arms are starved for attention and the adulation of others on the SMACK pages that they becomes insanely jealous whenever a team wins a game. If you have never seen The Arms Play you have cheated yourself of watching a home-grown legend my friends. They were absolute beasts at the plate and literally hits bombs that would get the attention of even the world famous Long Haul Bombers!
Those days are sadly over and what remains is a bunch of whiners. They played the entire 2011 season with one player short. I was told by his brother that he did not play one game. Again just reporting the facts.

This forum would be quite boring without the self praise, ball-busting or derogatory remarks.
The Arms are (in my opinion) a stand-up bunch of guys just having fun like the rest of us.
