| What is the sliding rule in this league? Most leagues declare that the catcher or fielder has to allow the runner a place to slide into. In other words you can be in front of the plate but you have to leave space for the runner to slide or run around the side of you to score. Standing in front of the plate with your legs open instead of down on your knee blocking the plate. If you are blocking the whole plate then it is up to the umpires.

| There is no touching home plate in our league. There is a line to cross to avoid collisions at home. On the bases you can't block the base until you have the ball, and yes you can slide into any base but home.
