| I am getting really tired of everyone in the league saying Griffith uses shaved bats. If you think we do show up to our field and pay to have the bat sent away and tested. And when it comes back clean you can buy us a new bat. Until then quit your bitching.

| haha...too funny..because someone can launch a ball a solid 250 feet, the bat must be shaved..the ones saying that can't get it out of the infield..it must be the bat. Same people that can't putt, so they go out and buy a new putter every year...It can't be them.

| wtf? I'm pretty sure griffer doesn't play on our team.
we have 1 guy that can hit bombs and he uses a demarini "the one" 2008 edition (white). He's a beast thats why he can hit it that far.

| we should be talking about our gloves not working, not other teams bats
whether a bat is shaved or not doesn't matter if the ball ends up in a glove
last year the arms hit, we didn't. arms made plays, we didn't. we lost, they won, that's how it goes....

| Maybe you want to check the bat of what we called the "14th avenue moon shot" hit by an Nvision player last week against the Griffiths......now that was a shot.....the ball was picked up on 14th avenue! Oh btw no one questioned his bat.....he's a big boy! Maybe before you complain about rolled bats, check out the swing first....if the guy has a 100mph swing, it's going to go out....just saying.....love the banter on this forum

| If you use a shaved bat so you can look like a hero on the tiny bandbox fields we play on in Markham, you're a Grade A certified doosh.
All it takes is one swing to get away from you and you've put a guy in the hospital. Do the right thing and put them away.

| This is supposed to be a fun league. Put the shaved bats conversation to bed because and I am not accusing anybody here, it is impossible to be sure about anybody swinging them or not swinging them. My weekend team gets accused and I am 1000% sure none of my players swing them. I take people at their word and when we played Griffith last yr most of them couldn't hit the ball out of the infield with that bat, lol, so there's no way it is shaved.
I actually asked someone in our league about a bat last yr and the person told me it was not and that put it to bed for me.
FOR ANYONE THAT MIGHT SWING ONE, JUST STAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE.
Again no blame here, but complaining about a bat after losing to a team is not good to do.
My travel team faces the bat issue every weekend and we just laugh about it and it's even more hysterical when we beat the team with our legit bats.

| I like to think every one is a good person and wouldn't cheat. At some point you need to just take people at their word. Most guys that swing shavers actually brag about it.

| I love the "that bat is shaved" crap after a team gets smoked....just call it jealousy that your team can't hit the ball that hard and move on.
