Gentlemen,

The 2011 USPL golf tournament is fast approaching and it's time to get committments from members to play.

As announced last year, we've secured Emerald Hills Golf Club (Warden Ave north of Bloomington) as our host course. The price is $175 and includes lunch, range, golf, cart, steak dinner and a sweet prize table. Tee off is set for 1:00 and the format will either be own ball or a Shamble (modified scramble). Write in your preference either below or by sending an email to USPLgolf@gmail.com

The big elephant in the room is that there are league games scheduled for the 5th due to the lost games due to rain. I am working with the course to get an earlier tee off so those with games can play golf and ball that day. Alternatively, the Masters players not participating in the tourney will be available as subs.

We have secured a number of great prizes and are looking for additional donations to the table from our league members and sponsors. Please email USPLgolf@gmail.com if you are able to contribute.

We need your support to ensure the success of this tournament. This has been a great event in the past and we're looking to put on a great event again at a superb golf course. Sign up NOW at USPLgolf@gmail.com.

Stay tuned for more details.

Hey Gents,

I would like to just add that we (Golf committee) need to get final numbers to the course 7 days prior to the event so if you can have totals from each team (names and foursomes if possible) by June 29th it would be appreciated.

Thanks for your efforts

Jeff Lewis

It's safe to say that in the past, there's always been a plethera of prizes and it's been a classy, fun day. I'm sure this year will be no different.

Cheers to the organizers!

We've decided to drop the dinner portion of our tournament to allow more members to play both golf and ball next Tuesday.

The new price is $135 and includes golf, cart, range and lunch. We'll do prizes right after the round over cocktails.

The tee time has been moved up to 12:30 with lunch starting at 11:30 and registration at 10:30ish.

We trust these changes will be well received and that you will support our efforts with your participation.

Please confirm your attendance by WEDNESDAY JUNE 28th as we must submit our final numbers.

Send an email to USPLgolf@gmail.com

Cheers,
USPL Golf Committee
