| Much like the Wednesday Night League does very year, I've proposed a Pete Rose Playoff Pool for the USPL to the Prez and he was warm to the idea. There are only a few days in between the end of the Regular Season and the start of our Playoffs. The logistics of ballott entry still have to be worked out, but I thought I'd put it out here on the Forum. Pending support and interest to the idea, we'll proceed with making the proper arrangements and follow up with further instructions on how to enter.
It's fairly simple, you just have to predict the Conny Champ as well as the ultimate Sunday Champ. A two team Exacta. $5 per entry and you can enter as many times as you like. Sorry in advance to the Masters guys, but after considering a Trifecta, we ultimately decided on the Exacta. The rest of the league just doesn't see very many Master's Games. The total pot will be divided amongst the correct entries right after the Championship Game. If there is no winning entry, the pot will be saved and rolled over into next year. Please respond with your thoughts on this idea right here on this thread. We'll get a pretty quick idea if this would fly and be worthwhile.

| I like it! Might be a good idea to consider giving half of the pot to a charity that the league is involved with as well.

| We did discuss the charity angle and decided that we would keep all the money in the pot for this. It is a bit of a degenerate's pool and I'm not totaly proud of it, but I thought the guys would have fun with it. After all, so many prognosticators on here anyways....

| What a great idea!! If anything it would keep guys around on the weekend to see how their teams are doing. I agree with having all bets placed before the beer tent closes on Friday night.

| Depends if certain teams bring there full roster or tell guys to stay home. If teams aren't cheap and play with there full squads, I predict a Duchess/Arms final. Will be close but the Arms will take it. Kelseys will win the Conny.
