| Good afternoon everyone,
I am not sure how many groups are even using the fields any more but we are closing the fields for this evening.
It has been raining all day and it is supposed to rain well into the evening tonight. Staff have checked the fields and they are water logged and in many cases have standing water. The rest of the weekend the fields will be open but for tonight they are closed.
Please stay off the fields tonight.
A new schedule will be released shortly. It will be sent to your team rep and put on this site.

Chris, you have a thankless job re-vamping the schedule for the umpteenth time. I'm sure you don't hear this as often as you should, but thanks for all the time you put in. Our league is one of the best because of volunteers like you.
Guys, appreciate what Chris and others must be going through with this. There will be no such thing as a 'perfect' schedule this coming weekend. Some teams may have to play many games, or even back-to-back games, and we may have to start early and end very late. It looks like we also may have to split up a couple of the 2-man umpire crews to accommodate all the games. I think we should all try to be as understanding as possible.
And pray for nice weather on Saturday & Sunday!
