| On playing with 10-11 players every game of the playoffs. Way to show the league how much we should respect you. Oh wait, we shouldn't. See you next year, straight up the middle!

| Wow, clearly some sour grapes there! I know that DST does not feel this way at all. Simply put, the better team on the day won. You guys played a great game and probably had the best hitting game of your season. And that's what good teams do when it counts the most. Congratulations!

| Siddique - There are better ways to address your frustration than on the forum - Bring up your concerns at the AGM or through your team rep.
Summit - You played a great game to knock us out of the playoffs - congrats on the victory.

| Well put Dave.
Congrats to Summit! I didn't see the final but you would have had to have played great ball to beat a solid DST team the way you did.

| It was a solid team effort against a bunch of very competitive teams. Our sticks were hot for us on Sunday and that was the difference in beating a powerful DST team in the finals. Congratulations to all the teams this year. As I've said once before, we have a very skilled group of players in our league and it was fun being a part of a great weekend of ball. Enjoy the off season everyone. Hope to see you out at the AGM to discuss how we can make our league even better next year!!

| Hey CC,
Get your facts straight before you chirp. 1 guy quit after a month of playing, and his friend/team mate quit with 2 months left. We had to use spares/reserves for a lot of the year. I see 12 players in the picture. During the round robin, quarter finals and semi finals we were missing 2 of our better players in Rod Black and Sean Nesbitt.
I see 12 in the picture. Our 13th man was at a wedding. Hopefully that helps clear it up for all.

| Really, Mr. Cadorin? You’re sticking with that?? That one of your players “quit” after a month???
I talked to the guy, and I’m not sure that he’d see it the same way. “Wasn’t felt welcome” and “asked to leave” were phrases that he used. I guess this guy didn’t fit into the way your hand-picked team played, but did you really ask him to find another league???
Enjoy your (asterisk) championship.

| I sure wish people knew the full story before making accusations. Summit had numerous injuries this year and were begging their teammates to come out. One person hurt his leg after 2 games and never came back. I ran into him a few times in the summer and he said his leg just wasn't healing. Another guy had problems with his kids hockey and his work schedule {thus for some reason 9:30 games didn't work for him}, a bunch of guys were injured or had reasons to miss a number of games. NOBODY was ever asked to leave the team due to talent issues - we were frustrated with a number of people, including one of our stars, who weren't showing up and didn't show up to more than 10 games all year. We knew Rod was going to miss a number of games and we were okay with that as we would still have 14 {at least we thought}. We constantly had guys like Chris and Scott playing through some serious injuries because some guys just weren't showing up. ALmost anyone who played us in the summer would know that we were constantly using reserves and spares - that was not the goal of the team then nor in September. It was frustrating for the organization of a team - but nothing was due to talent.

Your comments are interesting, because until the playoffs, Summit players deserved milk-carton status. They were always using spares producing a season-high best run against.

| Summit boys Ability may get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there. Do not repeat the tactics which have gained you one victory, but let your methods be regulated by the infinite variety of circumstances like using only 11 players.
