| It seems like many of you have missed me. Well, here I am, back to provide you all with my analysis of WEEK 2.
PS, Could Dillon, Matt, Nick, and Stephen please get a team name? Its not that difficult.
Lets start out with the first game of the night, the 0-1 Bulls facing 1-0 Show Em. The Greatest Team Ever will look to rebound and try and make a name for themselves after suffering a bad defeat last week, however the CBA Analyst predicts that they will have a tough time going against the size of Show Em. We all watched last week how brilliantly Show Em played, dominating Dillon's team on all cylinders of the court. Will they be able to carry this onto Week 2? With Captain, Evan Jina, dislocating his finger last week, their size has been reduced, and this may give MJ and Dennis Rodman the ability to push the ball and get inside the lane. The Greatest Team Ever will have to prove to the whole league that they can play a full game of basketball, without giving up because of missed opportunities. Will MJ, Rodman, Kukoc, & Kerr be able to bounce back and prove to the CBA Analyst and everybody else in the league that they can be a force to mess with? The fourth round pick of Steve Kerr needs to start chipping in, however with his 0 points last week, this is starting to look like another BUST! Furthermore, if the Bulls have any chance at winning, they will have to put a body on 'Derrick Rose'. He had a brilliant performance last week, and will be looking for another one this week.
This is a big game for the Bulls, as if they don't win, the CBA Analyst predicts that trade talks will loom within the air, however the CBA Analyst predicts that Show Em will be victorious, winning the game by 5.
The next game of the night will be a battle between the 1-0 Express Lanes, and the yet to play, Nick's team. We saw last week, that the Express Lanes had also looked very dominant on both ends of the floor, as they pushed the ball all game long, wearing out there opponents. Will they be able to bring this intensity into game 2? The CBA Analyst predicts that they definitely look like the team to beat in this league, as the MVP is dropping highlight numbers, however we all know that this is a long season, and players fall off. I had previously wrote an analysis of Nick's squad in another thread, however it had been removed. Its my duty to provide a prediction of how this team will do this season, as we haven't seen them in action yet. This team has the infamous Ghazwan. Yes, this player has hangtime like no other, but does he ever get his players involved? Does he know how to win big games? Based on the last two seasons, being on Jon Talia's team Season 3, and Devo's team Season 4, his numbers have been excellent, however it remains to be unseen on the standings, and will be the same case Season 5, as he CLEARLY doesn't know how to use his big men. His big men this season consist of first round pick, Ihab, and last pick, John, who camp behind the three point line. It looks like they won't be in much affect this season either. Furthermore, they have the captain Nick, who seems to be thinking hes playing NBA 2K. Lets be honest, this is real life, not ps3, so lets stop with these goofy layups and drive ins that you have been doing because its pretty weak.
Its unclear how this team will perform, however I predict that they won't be a force whatsoever. The CBA Analyst predicts that the Express Lanes will be much faster, and stronger than Nick's team, and will come out of the game victorious, winning the game by 9, moving them to 2-0.
Next, the third game of the night consists of Matt's team, 0-1, taking on the yet to play, Chicabooms. As we saw last week, Matt's team had a difficult time playing defense, allowing the opponents to have 24 opportunities from the charity strike. This will seem to be a contiuing problem for Matt's team, as everybody on his squad is known for hacking. Will Preston be able to redeem himself and chip in on offense and will BJ take more shots this week? If not, these players will be known as BUSTS. As we move on to the Chicabooms, who have yet to play, I had also posted an analysis about this team, however it had been removed. Here the CBA Analyst goes again. The captain, Danny's success rate in the CBA has been low. He went from a first rounder, to a third rounder, than to being a captain, all in which he has been recognized as being nothing more than a BUST. The CBA Analyst predicts that Danny's team will be one to fall short of the playoffs once again, and instead of blaming Dillon this time, Danny and his respectable first round pick, Marwan will point to the BALLHOG, Jason. We all know that Jason needs to take a minimum of 20 shots a game. Once Jason gets over himself and starts being a team player for once, maybe this team will actually have some success this season and be able to make the playoffs, however the CBA Analyst doesn't see this happening.
The CBA Analyst predicts that this will be a good game, as there are BUSTS on both sides of the court needing to prove themselves. Communication will be the issue for Chicabooms. This is a big game for Matt's team, as the analyst predicts that trade talks will also loom through the air for this team if they lose, however I predict they will be victorious, winning the game by 6, moving to 1-1
Lastly, the last game of the night consists of the CHAMPS, 0-1, taking on Stephen's team, 1-0. Last week, the champs got shut out, and were left speechless as they were dominated by Alex throughout the whole entire game. Quoted from 'CBA Habib' "No biggie CBA analyst we had the championship hangover lol we will def come out to play this week that's for sure." Was last week a awakening call for them to get up and see that their title is in jeopardy if they continue to play how they did? I will be watching to see if you guys come out and play this week. This week, they will play the team with no outside game whatsoever. 2 time MVP Amil had a bad game last week, and will look to bounce back to his normal self, scoring at ease, as its hard to think of who on the champs could cover him.
The CBA Analyst predicts that Stephen's aggressive inside game will lead them to the charity strike many times, once again, and will come out of the game victorious, going 2-0, defeating the champs by 7, making them 0-2, on the road to a downfall season, like I said.
Every team in the CBA has finally been analyzed. Lets see how the players come out and react Week 2.
I look forward to seeing you all this week, however you will not see me.
