	Production March 6, 2012 8:52:23 AM Entry #: 3876043	I’m glad to see there is more chatter than a few months ago. The weather is getting better and the smell is in the air. Opening day is coming quick. Our kids can’t wait until our first tournament. We are playing a TC in Dalton on March 23-25. This will be our first test for the NG Lightning. The boys have been working very hard and we hope they are ready for the challenge. We are just as “rusty” as the rest of ya’ll. The teams are looking tough from what I’m reading so the boys are working very hard to hone in their skills. Question I have is: Is TN the only state that will not let the kids playing Middle School and High School Baseball participate in a travel or select team? Does anyone have any ideas how to get around this? This is one of our handicaps along with our entire team playing Middle School ball. We have 7 different Middle Schools represented on the field and these pose a huge problem for Tommy but he has made it clear that school ball comes first. Coach Tommy is working through this and has the kids working hard to compete on a Major level. Come join us in Dalton and looking to see everyone at the fields.
