| I distrust Camels and anyone else who can go 1 week without a drink. This is our draft strategy.

| Some draft notes:
Final tryout - this Saturday, 9am Crosby Park. Draft Selection - 12 noon @ Kelseys Woodbine
Due to space limits, please have a max of 2 reps from each team at the draft.
There are 12 returning "A draft" players in this year's draft. There are 12 teams participating in the draft. Therefore all teams will participate in the "A Draft" selection process, unless numbers are augmented by a selection that brings in the Father/Son/Son-in-law/Brother rule. There are no guaranteed picks in the A draft or B draft.
All "A Draft" players must take part in at least one tryout. "A Draft" players must be present at the draft selection if they wish to veto(pass) on a team choosing them in the A draft. No proxies or notes are allowed. If the "A" player passes, he will enter the "B draft" and is no longer guaranteed a roster spot in the league. There is no passing once selected as a B draft selection.
We are still in need of additional players for the "B Draft". This is for new players to the league. Please tell any of your friends about this weekend's tryouts at 9am Saturday at Crosby. Playing in this league is loads of fun and they'll be able to make some new friendships. It's no big deal if they don't get on your team this year. There's always the A draft next year if they really want to play on the same team with you.
Let's hope it's warm and sunny this Saturday. See you on the field. Good luck with all your selections!
Chris Cadorin Executive Committee.

| I hope it is warmer this Saturday. Last week results, hand bruised, ego bruised, but it's worth it...gotta love the return to slo pitch after a few years.

| So guess who's playing slo-pitch this year...me. And guess who hasn't played since he was 21, me. This could be interesting.

| What is the deal with White 15 yesterday. He must be a awesome baller, he sure is a bad actor. He gets the gold, white 11 gets the silver and the bronze goes to blue 1. Quite the performance fellas.

| I'm pretty excited for the first slo-pitch game of the season tonight. I had to wake up early to start stretching. Looks like all the teams will be improved, so it should be an interesting season. A few beers and back to bed.

| Anyone else have an opinion. This is an open forum. All opinions, ideas and suggestions are welcome. The draft was conducted professionally, some teams hide players and others just missed the boat.
