The league has definitely improved this year quite a bit. Harding Display is the sleeper team and I think they are unquestionably one of the best hitting teams. Nvision is certainly a serious team to contend with, as is Active Health who are much improved over the last couple of years. We already know how good Summit, DST, Duchess and Kelsey's are. Jakes is a team that is climbing fast. It will be an interesting summer leading up to the playoffs.

While I agree with the observations about Jakes the comments about Kelsey’s is not accurate. They have numerous challenges.

Bad decisions at the draft have left the School and Mariani with only one win in the month of May. They both made some strange decisions and are now suffering the consequences.

It's tough work being a cheerleader for adult, beer league slo-pitch. I am shocked with the results from the School games.

Great article CC - especially that phrase about Duchess - what have they done this year? The answer is nothing.

Have another one!

another genius reply that promps me to write again in this forum.

What phrase are you talking about Winger? This one? **We already know how good Summit, DST, Duchess and Kelsey's are.**

I believe CC was saying that Summit, Dst, Duchess, and Kelsey's are pretty good teams in this league.. and for the most part, CC is right, they are pretty good teams.. I don't think CC singled out Duchess as being the saviour to this league or anything.. or did I read it wrong..

oh and btw (BTW, that stands for By The Way)Duchess is 5-1, rated top 3 by most of the reponses on this forum, and has 2nd highest RF to RA differential in this league.. a big improvement from what they did last year.. I too don't know what Duchess has done this year, but they are winning.. DST are beasts in this league 171-55 RF to RA? Damn

At least most of you are not buying the smear campaign put on by the forum clowns anymore... they want to see real evidence too how good the so called good teams are

Let's just pretend that the few games didn't happen in May and early June. Time to turn it around.

Nothing beats slo pitch and booze on a Monday night. Going to take a few boys to school late tommorrow night.

Based on the game results, Crupi must be the worst team in the league this year.

Damn you are mean, give Crupi a break. I want to also thank my teammates for leaving me at the Arms. Having already purchased one pitcher of beer my buddy assumed it was alright to drink every ounce of beer that wasn't already in someone's mouth without buying another. Not only did he keep drinking my beer....he then entered into this long, mostly incoherent rant about his job that almost made the bartender ask us to leave.

Seeing grown men in baseball pants for slo pitch softball makes me laugh every time.
