| Does anyone know if you can play a five men infield in our league, providing the fifth infielder plays right behind 2nd base?

| In our league, you can play 5 infielders if you'd like. Any of them can play anywhere they’d want (in fair territory) you are not limited to having one guy play behind 2nd base.
Hope this helps. Jim_the_Ump

| The five man infield will only work if you are playing a weak opponent. Milliken will also be interesting with only three outfielders. A gimmick at best.

| Only one team does the 5 man infield and they have lost 27 games in the last two years. So the success rate is not good.

| Great point regarding the wins.It may work with a weak outfielder that can't catch a cold.

| I pity the fool that deployes this strategy to lead his teams to wins.

| Sorta hoped the long winter would have scramble the Arms boys brain magically transforming them into a "Super Thinkers" with tons of good ideas of how to play defense.
