| Do the majority of players use the thin tape grip now? Last year I saw more and more guys using it. Is there any advantage to using the stock or similar grip? is it that you get more power due the fact you can relax your hands more easily because the neck is smaller etc? Is one better over the other if you are a singles hitter as opposed to a power hitter?I need to try to hit one out of Crosby.

| If your asking this question then forget trying to hit a home run and concentrate on just trying to get on base!

| It is truly a personal preference, some grips are thick out of the wrapper.

| The older and slower I get, the better the two piece feels. I don't know how to explain it but the whip compensates for my decreased bat speed. Different two piece bats feel different also, some are very whippy and some are stiff like a one piece. I hit pretty much only swing Eastons.

| I want to order a black glove with a red ARMS embroidered on it. You have to guarantee that the owner will be able to stop/catch (not deflect) bleeders up the middle. Price not a concern.

| The best five tool competitor plays for DHR, he just has not lived up to his capability. Some of his apparatuses are forgotten in shed most nights.

| If I had a varicose vein for every time someone wrote who is the best hitter on this website, my legs would look like crap......sheesh. He definitely plays for the Arms.

| Life is too short to worry about what others say or think about you. So have fun and give them something to talk about. Jeff has and will always have the best stick.

| We call our guy " all he du is hit lasers ". I just call him dudate...because of the frequency which he seeds the egg. DuRighty would like the league to acknolwedge his unique skill..the ability to homer oppo. Opposite hand...with appropriate SmackOlades. I have only seen one guy top this...by going oppo/oppo. Opposite hand/opposite field. No one has homered oppo/oppo.

| are you struggling? for me hitting in slopitch is a lot like shooting free throws in basketball. it's nice to work on technique to improve, but if what you're doing is working, who cares. you don't NEED good technique to be successful. last week I hit a triple swinging 'cricket style' to force an inside pitch down the oppo line as their RFer was only a few steps away from being their CFer. I almost fell over in the box, was embarrassed, but my team loved it, haha. or drink before the game.
