| With the upcoming season I have a few concerns regarding the Masters Division, The USPL has decided to shorten our games to 1:10 min from 1:30 with game times, Monday Nights ONLY (Long weekends included) Game 1 6:00-7:10 Game 2 7:10-8:20 Game 3 8:20-9:30 In that we pay the same amount, as the competitive league, yet the following inefficiencies exist:
1)We play less games in the year, Minimum amount of games: Masters= 17 regular seasons games, +6 Playoffs =23 but the last 2 games of the season begins round robin play, therefore Masters=21 Competitive league= 25 regular +3Playoff =28 > SEVEN LESS GAMES! even though we pay the same league fees. 2) Starting this year we will have less time to play the game. Each game is structured for 70 minute games, where as last year we were allotted 90 minutes. Again 20 minutes less game time, and still paying the same league fees.3) Possible curfew, for the last inning, could result in a 55 minute game. As compared to last year of 75 minutes with curfew. Again we still pay the same league fees.4) Without the Tuesday game in the schedule we play every Monday night. This means that the Masters Division plays every long weekend. Last year, with the Tuesday game, it gave each team at least one long weekend off where they did not have to rush down from the cottage.5)Monday night games start at 6:00pm. Even a 6:30 start was hard enough for guys to get there from work, now we will have a harder time in fielding a team for a 6:00pm start. Depending on where guys work and traffic, this will definitely be a problem this year. Overall, we are shorted in games played and time (17.5hrs or 11 2/3 Games), all the while paying the same league fees each year. This might be why committed enrollment to the Master League has dropped. It would seem that the Masters Division is subsidizing the more competitive league. Just my thoughts as a concerned Masters player…

| Umm, I'm pretty sure that you should check with the guys running your division before chirping out. It was my understanding that other nights were offered to the Masters Division, but was refused outright. They wanted Mondays, and only Mondays. So that's what you got. Deal with it.

| Sounds like a kid looking for more candy. Grow up and show your age. You guys complained about 9:30 games, hence your games were cut short, you complained about Tuesday nights, hence all games are on Monday. Did you not take your medication today ?

| Here is your option pal: play in the Wednesday night league for $200/$225. They are scheduled to play a 14 game season. Think about it. They do not have real umpires and play sub standard ball. Just the facts!

| This guy needs to get his head checked. This is a amazing league that runs smoothly. Good Umpires, genuine competition and loads of fine gentlemen. Please excuse him for he does not have all the facts.

As for your comments about wed ball having no real umps i guess 2 guys who have umped the league for 25 years and who are carded are not real in your mind.I find it funny how many guys cut up that league but look to play in it!

| A few years back I joined the USPL Masters division and have never regretted my decision to leave the other league. It has been a positive experience from day one. Try playing in another league and you will realize that this one is first class. I choose to be around supporting and uplifting people to expand the good in my life. Do not listen to a handful of complainers. Thums up!
