| I understand this weekend sucked...its over, but what I cant understand is why we arent ALL doing extra. I know some of us are struggling and are still doing work to make themselves better thats not what I am getting at. What I dont understand is how you can commit to Joey at the start of the season and not be willing to put in work to make yourself and in turn the team better? All of us are going to struggle at some point during the year I get it...but if we all arent doing extra to get better than whats the point? Im not sure what your goals were at the start of the year but if it wasnt to be the best god damn team in the country then why the hell did you commit? We all spend money on travelling Helen has spent who knows how much money on softball and we cant all put in a little extra work to make ourselves better???? It doesnt make any sense to me? If you are to the point where you are just that guy who wants to show up on Saturdays then find another team....we all have families and responsibilities including myself but I still make time to do the things I need to do to make myself better, it is a sacrifice from my family but they understand because I made a commitment to MY TEAM...if you dont want to make that same sacrifice for the team YOU committed to then dont play anymore im sure Joey can find someone tomorrow that will do what it takes to make themselves and the team better, you cant just go through the motions show up Saturday and expect that the work the rest of the guys are doing will be enough...ITS NEVER ENOUGH. And im not saying now that you read this send a text to go hit its not about this week or next week its about the next 3 months...make the sacrifice for the next 3 months, make yourself and the team better and if you cant or dont want to make that sacrifice for the team then dont play anymore because youre not helping. im not saying this to beat around the bush I mean exactly what is in here and I hope you take it personal its meant to be personal. If youre not doing everything you can to make the team better you are wasting all of our time and I for one dont appreciate it.
