| I am just curious on what everyone thinks is the best arm sleve and why?
Do you wear it for the look? Do you wear it for a purpose?
Last year I saw tons of guys wearing TubiGrip does someone have a lead on them and is it just cause of how tight it grips.
Seen phitan and UA around but to me they seem just a look.
Thanks for the insight

| Hey guys,
Looking for some help finding an article I read a couple years back but can't seem to track down now.
It was about the damage that could happen to a person when impacted by a softball. The study compared blue/grey/gold dot type balls to hot dots showing that hot dots were a much safer ball when looking at serious injury rates.
Any help is appreciate

| Maybe you should try contacting Worth or any of the ball manufactures directly. They may have some info they could provide you.

| What is the best way to clean gloves?? I just use dry cloth. But for cleaning after the season what do you do. How often do you apply conditioner to ur glove?

| EOS use conditioner/linseed oil to clean, condition and hopefully maintain the leather and the laces. Wrap a softball or two in the pocket use string or bungee cord to wrap the glove and tightly hold the balls in the pocket. Place glove with wrapped balls in a plastic bag seal bag - so it's air tight. Open her open in the spring and enjoy the season.

| If you have the skills, remove the laces, then clean with a leather cleaner. I use Lexol Orange which is the orange bottle in the kit. Then condition and relace.
You can do the above without removing laces and relacing, but you won't get nearly as good a cleaning.
I have also used generic leather cleaner and even leather cleaning wipes in the past with moderate success. They do dry out the glove quite a bit though so always condition it after accordingly.

| So after ALL of my gear and team gear was misplaced in the fall, I have had to deal with the depressing notion of having to get a new 1B glove. Has to be 13-13.5 and while I loved my vinci I was wondering if there's another company out there that I should look into that makes softball trappers. Any suggestions?

| Miken Supersoft is a decent 1B glove for the price. Good luck breaking a glove in this late! I picked up a custom glove (JB custom gloves) for P/1B but it's massive and I had to spend money on something...

| I have played for almost 20 years (slo-pitch) and still get that feeling the first game swings, part of the reason I still play because every time the weather turns in the spring my thought is on the start of the season. yup I have a problem

| This is so true. Especially for those league games. There are some "pitchers" that just cannot hit the mat when they say they can pitch. Most frustrating thing in the world and even more so at the beginning of the year when you just want to swing and play ball.

| I'm looking for a comfortable, light and durable pair of cleats. I've been using turfs for a while now, but am not sold on them. I've heard good things about the Tanel's, but haven't tried them out

| There’s nothing in the athletic repertoire that people go more nuts over than footwear. The debate about basketball shoes (which most definitely have an influence here) is infinite, but there isn’t a ton of chatter out there about baseball cleats. For that reason, I say Nike and NB make the best footwear for beer leaguers like us.

| Guys,
I know there are things we can do to protect our feet, as pitchers, such as guards and things that "snap" onto our shoes. But would any pitchers be interested in a shoe that incorporates protection with the least amount of impact on running or movement?

| Unfortunately I think Tanel went bankrupt about 2 years ago. Any product left was purchased by a company and they just continued to sell on a website. You might be able to find your size on ebay.

| Only problem with those 3N2's are that they are metal cleats...If you are getting 3N2's they use to fit large. Not sure about current models.
