Past 5 years: 4th 4 times 3rd once = them's the facts. Have you ever seen the Jays or Leafs win a Championship?
Here's some positive suggestions: get rid of Vladdy and Bo = some good starting pitchers in return. Get rid of Atkins and Shapiiiiiiiiiiro they are here to get a raise evey year regardless of how the Jays do. Get Adam Ant back as GM. Draft some players who have some fire/desire/basic ball ability. | The Blue Jays were entertaining during the month of September. Good on you Bo flow. In October the BJ’s joined the other Toronto team as the TOAD’s (The One And Done). We now have the Blue TOAD’s to go with the Maple TOAD’s.
Let’s see at the deadline the Mariners picked up Luis Casttillo (4-0 M’s 1st game). BJ’s picked up Zach Poop (surname says it all). And, Whit Merrifield hit in head 2nd game, the ball ricocheted further than any of the hits he has had as a BJ.
And, the new manager John Schneider why does he bring in his closer in the 8th inning? He’s a CLOSER, he is suppose to come in the 9th – unless, of course you have no faith in the set up relivers – I guess I answered my own question.
I imagine Atkins and Shapiiiiiiiro will get another raise. After all they did rip off another +80,000 attendees at Rogers – and isn’t that their main job – cause it certainly isn’t providing a Champ on the field.
Yet again, in 2023 get another starter and relief/set up pitchers. Vladdy should be worth something while the hype is still fresh.

Are you STUPID, do you have any conceptof what this team needs, do you have your heads in the sand and can't see????
You need some hitters. RISP 28th out of 30 teams. Last 6 games scored 12 runs (2/game), and had a total of 26 hits (4.5/game). I guess Rogers doesn't have the money to get the best personnel.
In the last 6 years Shapirooo and Atkins have managed 4th place finish 4 times - 3rd place finish once - and 2nd place 1 time (wild card = finished).
Of course the coach will take the fall once again, and Shitaro and Asskins will get raises.

Confidence? Over weight? One of those things we are suppose to feel sorry for. - Vladdy FatAss problems: one of the worst in Majors with RISP, and hitting into double plays. Anyone notice he is in charge of Gatorade showers but hasn't had one himself. - Atkins moves at trade deadline: gets one mid reliever and one utility infielder who goes 0 for Toronto with BJ's 27th out of 30th RISP. - Coach Schneider brings up relative or stretch drive. - Auston Matthews and Marner laugh at players who can't play with hurt fingers. - Bo still the best (MVP) BJ and will probably miss most of Aug/Sept. - Exodus of Free Agents: Chapman, Ryu, Merrifield..... Birkey agree with you completely. Adam Ant is now in Atlanta where he is President - 6 straight years for the Braves winning NL East. One of the worst moves BJ's didn't make by not resigning AA. But Atkins and Shapiro did bring $1 hot dog Tuesdays, and a new Corona bar to the Centre - and oh ya, they brought in DeJong at the trade deadline, he didn't last delong.

| As far back as July 11/22... YES 2022 I have been saying fire Atkins and Shapiiiiiro. Now it seems everyone is on board.
As Rosie Dimanno (Tor Star) writes "pushed out to first feed the rabid media horde was Shapiro's sock puppet, Atkins. Let Atkins take the brunt of the blows while the rage is still fresh. That's what patsies are for".
If you want analytics to run the game get a laptop with AI and let it make the calls. No need for coaches. And, if you can't get your players to focus and accept accountability (see FatAss) then get someone else to play and coach.
The Rogers Corp. (owners of BJs) must realize the BJ organization is a shitshow. They have to fire the decision makers (I use the term loosely).
Does anyone really know who made the Berrios decision? Does anyone know where Manoiha is? What is Mattingly's job? Can Merrifield tell us more? Can Vladdy learn enough English for an interview? Can Vladdy shut up at 1st base and stop being the fun guy and perfect host? How quickly did Vladdy get back to the Dominican? (quicker than he got back to 2nd) How quickly can Merriweather, Kiermeyer, Rhyo, Chapman get out of town?
So many questions... no one to answer. When will the fans smarten up and boycott the BJ's. Before next year and the prices go up and why are they going up?

Optimism can turn into resentment, and fans may not be willing to buy tickets, watch TV games, pay for 5 year premium seats, overpriced drinks and cheap hotdogs.
Should BJ executives have downplayed the possibility of signing Ohtani? That goes against the grain of BJ/Rogers hype machine we receive every year.
The false information went unchecked: no Ohtani in TO, no Ohtani on that plane. Did the BJ's sign Robert Herjavec (Dragons Den) when he got off that plane.

| MY NEW YEARS RANT Only part of the failure to sign free agents is a result of the BJ's management. You have to look beyond the inept management. True, they are assholes, the media over hype possibilities and the fans are ridicules in their expectations but there's another side.
Players don't want to come to Canada.
US, Caribbean, South American, and now Japanese players don't want to come to a foreign country, unless it's the US of A. They don't even know where Canada is.
And it snows all the time. You will have spend half your signing bonus for a one room apartment. You won't be able to buy a gun at the corner store. You will spend nights sleeping on the departure tarmac at Pearson International. And, you will be taxed to death for everything (this one is true, eh).
The only reasons free agents come here is to renew their careers with the promise of picking their own playing time. (see: Donaldson, Ray, Semien, Chapman and Khalil)
We are not the USA and that is a good thing.
If it was hockey - do you think a good free agent, Canadian or US born, would go to France to play just because the media says the team is talking to the player.

| Blumpy,I think Jays need more than what you suggest.
Starters Kikuchi and Berrios are doing fine ERA around 2.00 Bassit and Gauzman around 5.00. They are losing games because of mid-relievers.
Jays have given some guys to many final chances. Mid relievers Pearson 6.00 ERA, Francis 8.59, Swanson 12.54 get rid of them.
And, while you can get something for Vladdy, Romano and Springer. Garcia becomes the closer ERA .5 (yes .5) as compare to Romano 5.00.
As you suggested a complete wash of coaches.
Bring up anyone in A, AA, AAA who is hitting near .300 They're hungry, give them a chance. After that throw it open to an anyone want to try out situation. (Blumpy do you have a hardball bat?)

Or, is this just another effort by Jay management to try and ignore the 2024 disaster and decisions on the field.
Could management, instead of bringing up any Joe Blow, not have brought up Votto to the Bigs for at least one game against the Reds?

I'm waiting for Vladdy to be named Jays MVP, they have no one else. And, he wants to stay here forever that's like saying SHOW ME THE CASH.
I'm waiting for the fans to wake up and instead of being the 3rd best attendance in the AL and 15th best in MLB stop feeding the Rogers coffers.
This team was in last place in the AL East in mid-May 2024 and Rogers won't change unless the fans stop coming.
