This fall, a new idea has been gaining traction: the Great Lock In of 2025. On social media, people are using it to channel their focus toward a handful of immediate priorities—whether fitness, career, or finances. The premise is simple: instead of trying to take on everything, “lock in” on a small set of goals between now and year-end. Unlike vague resolutions that stretch on for a year, this lock in is short, targeted, and designed to create momentum. Maybe your team will be listed here as the 2026 champs.

Can we change one rule? If a guy pulls himself with a fake injury, he is an automatic out.

Birkey, great in theory. I know your going to say the "ump" but:
Is he going to determine if it's fake injury or not?
Is he going to know when the player exits?
Rarely do the teams keep track of the others teams bat order (this isn't tournament ball).
Is he going to waste game time with trying to determine validity of this situation?

So, not practical.

The best baseball player had the single greatest playoff game! 10 strikeouts and 3 homeruns!
Shohei Othani’s $700 mill comp package is 98% deferred until a decade later. Some say he has already made that much for the Dodgers. It’s about how much value one can bring in, in proportion to what they can achieve. We will likely never see a performance like this until he tops himself. No one is questioning his comp package.
Do we have a player like this in our league?

Don't let them tell you the ump should police this "removing player from batting order" situation.

The ump doesn't have the lineups.
Both team rarely keep track of the other teams lineup.
Arguments will take up playing time.

If discovered then offending team should default game.
